AW11/12 Colour Forecast

The AW11/12 palette is moving on from the summer, developing into more appropriate tones for the shorter, darker days. Green gains a blue base and becomes more of a true forest green, away from the military khakis of the previous winter. The popsicle brights of summer move into deeper plums and maroons, with a pop of lipstick red that has been waiting in the wings patiently. Yellow is ochre, almost gold, and the darker, slightly blue based greys form the base of most of our wardrobes. Think 70's meets 90's for colour combinations, creating something modern and fresh, but with a level of comfort and familiarity.
